Al-Nisa \r\n (The Women)
God alone has the power to dispense the good of this world \r\n as well as that of the Hereafter, to lavish transient benefits as well \r\n as abiding felicity. It all depends on a \r\n man's nature and the extent of his ambition what kind of benefit he seeks \r\n from God. If a man is infatuated with the fleeting benefits \r\n of this world, and is prepared to sacrifice the benefits of the everlasting \r\n life, then God will grant him only the good of this world and he will \r\n have no share in the good of the Hereafter. \r\nGod's benevolence is like \r\n a river which never dries up, a rive which is both capable of, and geared \r\n to, providing abundant water to all who need their tillage watered. \r\n It is short sighted and unambitious to want one's fields to be irrigated \r\n only once, and to be prepared thereafter to face the prospect of eternal \r\n drought. Anyone with breadth of vision would commit himself to submit \r\n to God and obey Him, thereby earning the well-being of both worlds. \r\nGod is fully aware of the actions of His creatures, and \r\n is unlike those negligent sovereigns who are blind in lavishing their \r\n favours. God governs the universe with full knowledge and awareness. He \r\n has an eye on the capacities and ambitions of all human beings and knows \r\n their qualities exactly. He is fully aware \r\n of the purposes to which people devote their efforts and energies. \r\n Anyone who wilfully decides to be disobedient to God should therefore \r\n not cherish hopes of receiving the favours reserved for those who obey \r\n Him. \r\nSource: |
\r\n Understanding the Prophet's Life |
Being \r\n Transparent \r\n\r\n\r\n The above incident is a clear indication that the Prophet \r\n made sure that those two companions understood that she was his wife. \r\n He didn't want their thoughts to wonder and come up with the wrong conclusion. \r\n This indicates how important to be transparent and make sure that others \r\n perceive your actions correctly, particularly when it is related to interaction \r\n with members of the opposite gender. \r\nSource: |
