Al-Nisa \r\n (The Women)
The Quran affirms that the \r\n proper required and comprehensive concept of faith is based on believing \r\n in God and His Messenger, making no distinction between God on the one \r\n hand and His messengers on the other, or between the messengers themselves. \r\n \r\nBelief in the absolute unity of God necessitates that \r\n we believe that the religion that His messengers preached is also one \r\n single faith, and that all the (true) messengers belong to the one same \r\n group. Attitudes to them all must be the same. For people who knowingly \r\n 'differentiate' between the essential messages preached by God's messengers, \r\n ie. believing in some and not others, their only reward with God is a \r\n 'humiliating suffering'. \r\nAny denial of this unity of the \r\n messengers, or of the unity of the message itself, is tantamount to a \r\n denial of the oneness of God, and is a misconception of what His oneness \r\n really means. \r\nTherefore, the religion and the code God has given mankind \r\n (through different messengers) come from the same source and share the \r\n same basis and essence. This holds true only if the original message revealed \r\n through the messengers has remained intact and uncorrupted. \r\nMuslims are required by their ideological concepts to \r\n believe in God and all of His messengers without any distinction. All \r\n messengers are highly respected by them, and all Divine faiths are true, \r\n unless distortion has crept into them. \r\nTo a Muslim, the procession of the messengers of God, \r\n led by Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (and all other true prophets, \r\n peace be upon them all) only helps to give genuine meaning to the true \r\n purpose in life; that they are custodians \r\n of this great task and heirs to an ever-continuing blessing. \r\nSource: |

Death \r\n in Defence of One's Rights \r\nThose who die defending themselves, their family, their \r\n wealth, their faith or any other legal right or who are wrongfully killed \r\n by those who practice injustice and tyranny are considered to have the \r\n reward of martyrs. The following traditions bear witness to this fact: \r\nThe Prophet said: "Whoever \r\n is killed defending his wealth or possessions is a martyr; whoever dies \r\n defending his family is a martyr; whoever is slain because of his faith \r\n is a martyr; and whoever dies defending himself is a martyr." \r\n [Abu Dawud, Al-Nasai] \r\nAllah's Messenger said: "Whoever \r\n is killed as a result of tyranny and injustice is a martyr." \r\n [Al-Nasai] \r\nSource: |
Stories \r\n Good & True |
\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Kindness Towards Neighbours \r\nOne of the Prophet's companions was called Abdullah. \r\n He feared Allah and was kind to people. One of his neighbours was \r\n a Jew. \r\nOne morning Abdullah sacrificed a goat for his family \r\n to eat that evening, and then left his house to go about his business \r\n for the day. \r\nWhen Abdullah returned to his house that night, the \r\n evening meal was placed before him. He and his family were just about \r\n to start eating, when Abdullah asked his family if they had given \r\n some of the meat to their neighbours. They replied that they had not \r\n given any to the Jew because he was not a Muslim. \r\n"What!" said Abdullah. "He \r\n may be a Jew, but he is still our neighbour. The Messenger \r\n of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has often reminded \r\n us to be kind towards our neighbours, even if they are not Muslims. \r\n I will not eat anything until he has been given some this meat!" \r\nIt was not very long before Abdullah and his family \r\n were enjoying their evening meal! \r\nSource: \r\n \r\n |
